A while back I added a UAD-1 Flexi Pack to my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
This thing is AMAZING!!! I'm so thrilled with the power in this card and the true to life emulation it provides. My mixes have truely been brought to life. I'm about to add another one of these cards to my DAW (you can add up to 4). Adding more cards allows you to run more instances of these plugs in your mix. The Plate 140, Dimension D, Pultec Pro are among my favorite plugs at this point. Out of all of these plugs to choose from...
I recomend the Plate 140, Roland Dimension D, Neve 1073 & 1081, Pultec Pro, LA-2A, 33609, 1176, Fairchild 670, Precision Multiband, Precision Limiter, I have'nt tried the Helios so I can't recomend it, but I hear it is nice.
If your looking for a way to make your mixes that much better I recomend looking into the Universal Audio Cards & Plugs.
