Piano Recital Complete

On Saturday, 5/12/2007, I had my first piano recital since my younger years. Recently I started taking piano lessons. I took lessons when I was younger, but like most kids the social aspects of your life tend to take precedence and the first thing to go is usually things like piano lessons. It wasn't until I was out of college that I really wished I had never quit and really started missing the piano. This past January I made it a goal of mine to get going again with lessons and to stay committed. My piano teacher asked me if I wanted to participate in an upcoming recital so I said what the heck it can only help. I must admit I got really nervous when it came my time to perform. While the performance wasn't perfect I think I did OK considering it was the first time in a long time that I had to perform in front of a crowd. My performance piece was "All That Jazz" from the movie Chicago.
